The following essay is a tentative overview of the phenomenology of ethics. In it I attempt to put HusserTs method and some of his works to use in reaching a phenomenological characterization of the ethical predicament. I do so without any other reference to the excellent work by A. Roth,¹ than taking from it the term, value, or "worth" (Wert). The work concerns itself more with the "logic" of "worth" than with the description of the phenomenological genesis attempted here.
